Helen Hunt Falls
My boyfriend and I checked out Helen Hunt Falls this summer, and it was absolutely beautiful.
I loved hiking up there. To give you a little encouragement to give it a shot, check out these pictures and I’m sure you will want to grab some friends or family and go on a little adventure.

Beaches in Cancun, Mexico
For my 2010 Spring Break, my family went to Cancun, Mexico! Finally, a chance to get some sun and away from the cold snow in Colorado.
We stayed in the Lahia Condos, which come as nice as they get! Continue reading

Aspen, Colorado
For the weekend, my family took a little trip to Aspen, Colorado to see the aspen trees change color during the fall. Now, at first, I thought this would be rather boring, like watching grass grow or something.
But it actually turned out to be a great weekend trip! Continue reading

The High Line in NYC
I was very unimpressed when my parents brought me to the High Line at first. Looking up from below, it looks like an old, dirty bridge. Definitely not the first thing on my list of things to see in NYC! This just added to the surprise when I walked up the stairs, revealing beautiful gardens going on for what seemed like forever. Ziplining in Cancun, Mexico
Thinking about a Cancun tour? While we were in Mexico for Spring Break, my mom took my siblings and me on a fantastic ziplining tour with Selvatica. It’s actually a pretty easy place to find, with a giant arch and its name in bold letters above it, to show which road to turn on. Yet somehow, we got lost before that point.

Ek’ Balam, Mexico
Are your parents making you leave the beach in Cancun to take a tour? I feel your pain. But this place was cool and worth a break from the sand and surf! Instead of going to Chichen Itza, we visited the more recently excavated Mayan ruins called Ek’ Balam. My mom said that these ruins would be closer and cooler because you can climb on most of the ruins, including the big pyramid in the center! Continue reading
