The World's Biggest Hot Springs Pool

For Mother’s Day, my family took a trip to Glenwood Springs, where we spent one of the days at the hot springs resort. Glenwood Springs is the home of the world’s biggest hot springs pool! Besides the smell of sulfur, this is the perfect family vacation spot for a weekend.Glenwood Hot Springs has two major pools; one warm, and the other HOT! If you are interested in relaxing, go for the hot tub-like pool as you first enter. For kids, the other pool is still plenty warm enough to play for hours! I was personally fond of the diving board near the end of the pools. I could spend all day jumping off that thing. Why is it that so few pools still have diving boards? Or slides? When you come across one, it’s a huge deal.

I was really looking forward to the water slides, but when they were turned on, the motor exploded! Luckily, though, they fixed one of the slides pretty quickly.

TIP:I would recommend the two person slide with the inner tube. The other slide seemed to irritate my back!

I also bought a tshirt from the store next to the cafe. (They have really cute T’s. Check em’ out!)

Glenwood Springs is a great getaway for yourself or with your family. It was a completely relaxing place to be, especially for a weekend in the middle of the school year!
