Movies That Make Me Want to Travel!

1. Twilight:

My aunt and uncle live in Washington, but we’ve never been to the Olympic Peninsula. That’s gotta change.

2. New Moon:

It was supposed to be Volterra, but was shot in Montepulciano. Wherever—Twilight Saga + Italy + me = can’t hold me back!

3. Julie & Julia:

Last Spring, my mom and sister and I went to Paris. This movie made me want to go back and cook too!

4. Gladiator:

Shot in Italy, Germany and Morocco, this is one of my favorite movies! All of the beautiful locations add to the amazing plot. Watch it if you can (it’s rated R, so you’ll have to talk it over with the parents). I guarantee that you will want to get on a plane ASAP!

5. Up:

This movie is super cute, plus it’s set in South America…or what looks like South America. If I go there, maybe I’ll see one of those crazy birds and have one as a pet! ;)

6. Aquamarine:

The book says that it is set in Florida, but the movie was filmed on the beautiful beaches of Australia! Cool!

7. Sahara:

This movie was filmed in the deserts of Morocco and Northern Africa! Very different from Aquamarine, but really makes me want to experience the African culture that is in the movie.

8. Pride and Prejudice:

This movie made me want to go back in time to the Victorian Era in England! Oh well, I might not be able to travel back in time, but I can go visit the Lake District of England and London for sure!

9. Devil Wears Prada

Who doesn’t want to visit New York??? I sure hope I get to visit there someday!

10. Chronicles of Narnia:

I so want to go on an adventure through a giant wardrobe! Or I could settle for New Zealand, where this was partly filmed.

What about YOU? What movies have made YOU want to travel? Please COMMENT below.
